It was quite close to my house and I wanted to try the cuisine. My friends told me the good is pretty unique. Some customers complained about the portion; I think the portion is fine. We ordered 5 dishes in total. The lamb opal soup is great for health, the staff told me. My friend wanted to try the more exotic dish (female pigs’s ovary, stirred fry fallopian tube) I didn’t know what that is and never heard of it. It turned out it has a distinctive smell so we couldn’t eat it. The couple next to us saw the pork ribs and they ordered the same the potato salad is pretty self explanatory. The last dish is stirred fry liver, which is okay. I’d rate the food experience in this restaurant is 4/5. The dishes that are not spicy are more authentic tasting. The spicy dishes have too much spice and oil which make them taste the same.

I came during a quiet night hence we were seated right away. We were pretty acquainted with this place already due to all the take-out we had been ordered. Yet we were pleasantly surprised that they offered exceptional service and delightful atmosphere. All in all a great experience.

Food 4.5/5 Service 5/5 Vibe 5/5 New spicy restaurant near Bayview and Major Mac. (It was originally another spicy reso, but I think they switched names, not 100% sure) Place is packed on a Friday evening, even after 8pm. I take that as a good sign Food came relatively fast, and everything is piping hot, which is what I like when it’s so so cold outside. I highly recommend their stir-fried spicy beef, garlic sauce veggie, and jasmine tea. - I was really excited for the crispy ribs, but I think it had too much flour/dough on top of it… which doesn’t affect the taste, just prefer it the other way. Overall, great new spot! Definietly coming back to try out new items.

Went there on a weeknight for dinner. The staff was polite and pleasant; they spoke Cantonese and mandarin which was nice. Restaurant was 80 to 90% full. We ordered the fish in sauerkraut which was a good size for 3 ppl; lots of fish, sour vegetables, bean curd strips, enoki mushrooms and tapioca noodles. Soup was well seasoned - just the right saltiness, sourness and spice. Not too hot but just right. We also had the beef and cold noodles which were very good. The staff were super - they asked me about allergies and answered me about food recommendations. They reminded me to mix the cold noodles before eating. I visited a week after my first visit - I see a new menu item for set meal for 2 and 4, including frog legs! What a treat! Tables on my left had ordered this and sounded like they enjoyed the food. I saw another table ordering the tofu with beef dish which looked quite good too.

We recently visited Young Sanniang Beef Pot. We two ordered an extra dish after hearing a lot about their small portion sizes. Since the wait time was a bit long, they kindly offered us complimentary sour plum cherry tomatoes, which were refreshing and whetted our appetite. While the small plates do appear quite small when served, the actual portions are reasonable. The tofu, beef hotpot, and stir-fried beef tripe were all served in standard portions. My personal favorite was the stir-fried beef tripe—flavorful, not too spicy, and absolutely delicious with a lingering taste. My husband likes the beef pot and soup. Overall, a great experience with thoughtful service and tasty dishes.

Spicy Chinese food restaurant worth a try! It’s just the right level of spiciness. I like the spicy and sour fish. The service was great.

来了两次了!真的蛮好吃的,鱼很新鲜辣味十足哦! I’ve already been here third time with my family, and my mom—who’s a big fish lover with high standards and she was really impressed! Their spicy fish is super fresh, with just the right balance of saltiness and heat. We also tried a meat soup (can’t remember the name), a bit salty on its own but perfect with rice. The spicy glass noodles were freshly made and so flavorful. Their jasmine iced tea is a must-try refreshing, balances the spice perfectly, and very reasonably priced. Their fried rice was also really good. It was just the right amount of salt seasoning. My mom usually never eats rice, but this fried rice gave her appetite! Even the simple fried vegetables were fresh and delicious. As a shrimp lover, I have to say their pan-fried shrimp was crispy, flavorful, and definitely worth ordering. Lastly, we ordered a stuffed pancake (I think taro) and it was amazing: crispy on the outside, soft and perfectly sweet inside. Definitely a spot worth coming back to!

The restaurant is pretty small, so I always order takeout. Even for takeout, the food is really good. Their Qiaotou-style pork ribs are flavorful and come in generous portions. Even though it's take out, they always taste so crispy. However, the stir-fried vegetables are usually a bit overcooked—kind of mushy every time. On the other hand, their fried rice is excellent, so I always order the fried rice, the pork ribs, and a vegetable dish. But honestly, I’d recommend skipping the veggies next time because they’ve been too overcooked lately. I haven’t tried anything else on the menu yet because I always end up getting the same things. That said, I’ll definitely keep going back and plan to try more of their dishes—hopefully I’ll discover some new favorites!
